Cafeteria Officer Role

The Cafeteria Officer role is assigned to staff who manage meal services.


Overview

Cafeteria officers can:

  • Create menu and meal definitions
  • Plan daily/weekly menus
  • Manage meal reservations
  • View meal count reports

Restrictions

Cafeteria officers cannot:

  • Access student, guardian, or staff details
  • Access academic processes (courses, groups, exams)
  • View financial records
  • Change institution settings
  • Perform attendance or assignment operations

Typical Tasks

Daily

  • Check daily menu
  • View reservation counts
  • Set meal preparation quantities

Weekly

  • Create weekly menu plan
  • Update meal definitions

  1. Go to Cafeteria -> Menus and Meals
  2. Create meal definitions (name, calorie, allergen info)
  3. Assign meals to daily menus

Reservation Tracking

  1. Go to Cafeteria -> Reservations
  2. Filter by date and meal
  3. View total reservation counts

Reporting

Cafeteria officers can access:

  • Daily reservation counts
  • Meal-based distribution
  • Reservations with notes (for example, allergy information)
